With all the FPL folks, fancy lawyers, high paid secretaries, and merger integration leverage...DALPA could not figure this out and ended up folding their cards. Unbelievable!

However they do have a lot of leverage. If we don't let them have their way with us, they might not let us be the defense provider for their entire region at our expense.

Ok, show that data first. No one can seem to get a straight answer our of them. I have a KLM friend that is a Capt that is making in the range of 194 euros an hour plus better per diem, better vacation and line construction etc.
Second, we are not just talking about pay, but their benefits, vacation etc. Do not forget that the have significant government subsidized retirement and medical which we do not have. They start with six weeks of vacation, etc. Apples to apples. We need to look at the cost of each pilot to the corporation, not just pilot take home pay. Total cost and then look at what we have and then assign a value to what they get that they do not have to pay for.

This is an example of a placating and plausibly deniable post.
If this is what working tirelessly looks like, its a pathetic joke.
The contract comparison, for all its glossiness, wasnt much more of a product than what is available on the airlines section of this website. Carl summarized AF/KLM adequately for pilots to make a decision.
ALPA continues to disappoint and manage expectations while giving an excuse about why it wasn't done sooner.

And the UAE, where unions are flat out illegal, is subsidized by the import/export bank as well as government favoritism to the direct disadvantage of all US carriers. Oh and they just announced a massive US expansion and are exponentially increasing their cargo ops.
However they do have a lot of leverage. If we don't let them have their way with us, they might not let us be the defense provider for their entire region at our expense.

ALPA EF&A, the best in the Galaxy. So good, the airline's ask for them by name.
Little hint:
The airlines ask for ALPA EF&A because they produce the product the company wants.

If this doesn't give everyone clear evidence that the intent of this survey is to provide the basis for a weak opener...nothing will. The evidence is everywhere, but you have to be willing to see it.
