The guy has a point. Our standards have continued to circle the bowl. Instead of mocking him. We should want to rise to a higher standard of quality.
Our collective mindset as pilots seems to continue to accept lower and lower standards. I wonder why we can't better ourselves:-(

The dust from Delta's 2008 merger with Northwest Airlines seems to have settled. The Atlanta-based carrier showed significant improvement in all four AQR categories. Along with the number of mishandled bags and involuntary denied boardings, the number of customer complaints dropped from two per 100,000 passengers in 2010 to 1.23 in 2011.

Net income: $593 million
Share price: $8.50, down 30 percent from 52-week high
For the first time, Delta beat the other competing airlines. The company ranked first in five out of the ten categories, including complaint/problem resolution and quality of communications. Delta bought Northwest Air in 2008, creating the world’s largest airline at the time. The move was motivated to some extent by the fact that $140 oil prices had put tremendous pressure on profits. The Northwest buyout was intended to let Delta take out redundant costs. Airline combinations often cause short-term problems with customer service as reservation systems need to be merged and duplicate routes are often cut. Lay-offs can also cause problems with customer service. Based on the results of this survey, Delta seems to have overcome those problems.

A spirit drank by only three people:
1. "short" men with big egos..... "...Courvoisier cognac was the favorite drink of Napoleon Bonaparte, who died in 1821..."
2. Leon Phelps... AKA The Ladies Man!

3. And some tool that calls himself CAPTJNS!

Perhaps you need to read the originating thread... Cabin crew were very good... no complaints about them. Can you say "Reading comprehension???"
