Agree completely. Its amazing that he listens to the most biased media of all, and criticizes NPR.

Your screen name fits your intellectual prejudice.
NPR has been found over and over again to be one of the least biased media sources available in the US. |

I listen to and support NPR. I agree, sometimes they lean to far to the left for my taste. I still learn a lot by listening.

Yes, their actual reporting is not too biased, but their commentary, interest stories, and the majority of their guest interviews/sought opinions reflect their left of center positions on the issues. It's not prejudice he's basing that opinion on. I listen to NPR quite often and can agree that while the content is normally very good, it is definitely a liberally biased organization.
...But NPR is just *one* of *many* news outlets I use. |

Not sure what you are into, but I'll stay clear of the " butthurt" stuff. Not my thing, but who I am I to judge. That being said, I expect the same sensoring/deleting of bb when he trolls, blames, and insults over 40% or YOUR co-workers. You have not been consistant. Btw, I DID NOT intentionally misspell it to get around the filters, just misspelled. Stop ASSuming. On another note, when did this forum turn into the girl scout forum? .

Listened to as much as I could - as if Diane Rehm didn't make me sleepy enough, her guests put me out cold.

No. Our only peer airline is UPS for contract comparison purposes. I sure as heck don't want to be compared to an LCC or even a legacy.
Doesn't "remotely piloted vehicle" sound much safer than "unmanned aerial vehicle""? |

Most regional jets are as big or bigger that "airliners" of the past. They are certainly faster too. IMO, they have passed the point of being entry level positions. They should pay VERY well. It is the deregulated (not really) walmartization of the industry along with competitive factors that have kept regional pay depressed.
That having been stated, Moak did a good job. I look forward to the day when ALPA leadership realizes that real UNITY is a stronger platform that politics, or a radio show. Branded flying should be performed by pilots on that brand's seniority list. By mergers, or extinction, the only way to have one standard is have one list under one contract. That's unity. |
