But I guess in your mind, Clinton's blow jobs are more catastrophic to the welfare of humanity.
DC. I'm not outraged at all and I'm not motivated to try to mount a defense of Bush. I was only trying to correct a point of fact: That Clinton wasn't on trial for consensual sex, he was on trial for the sexual harrasment of Paula Jones.

I thought female member of this board would probably react different about Clinton if we thought of it in terms of sexual harrasment instead of the misconception that it's about consensual sex.

The Republicans set out to impeach Clinton over his consensual sexual dalliance with Monica Lewinsky. They were on a political witch hunt.

Playing the sexual harrassment card for political favor doesn't work for me. As far as "female member of this board", she realizes that accusations of what constitutes sexual harrassment, cover a broad spectrum. One person's definition of sexual harrassment can be quite different from another person's definition. For example, a guy I used to work with took a liking to me, flirted with me and eventually asked me out. Does this constitute sexual harrassment? I hardly think so. I wasn't interested in the guy, so I laughed it off and politely told him that I had a policy to not date guys I work with. Another person may have considered that sexual harrassment. I believe that women who are truly sexually harrassed in the work place should not tolerate it whatsoever, but there have been frivolous lawsuits that have cheapened the issue of true sexual harrassment.

DCkozak pretty much summed up my feelings. Our current administration is a disaster and has caused what may be irreparable harm to this country.

I'm sick and tired of you crying morons that believe ALPA national has some secret silver bullet that can somehow change the bankruptcy court other than backing a pilot group to strike, which they've done when asked. Or trying to fix the bankruptcy laws as they pertain to us. You are just lookng for someone to blame for a bad situation, which we all agree it is.

And, on the other issue you're a supreme court scholar GMAFB

Very intelligent response.............

First off, I reread my response and I did'nt see any mention of 9/11, or blaming anyone.

Second.........Why do you start calling me names? I don't know who you are! (I bet you beat puppies with sticks)

Third....Our ALPA reps (MEC chairman and negotiating committee flat out lied to us about our TA.

Fourth.......This thread is titled "What Has ALPA Done For You Lately" and all I did was make one response to exactly what this thread was supposed to be about. Not Bush or Republican bashing.

Fifth.....Other "laws" have been passed by Congress and the courts have said they were unconstitutional. And no, I'm not a lawyer. Just going by what's happened in the passed. And again I will say it's just my opinion.

Sixth......Guess I hit a nerve with you.....Bitme

Wasn't trying to flame you at all. Clear we're not going to agree on why Clinton was impeached and that doesn't bother me. Democracy is cool! no?

I only brought it up because I think a lot of people have lost sight of WHY he was impeached. It became all about Monica Lewinsky, the cigar and the blue dress when it should have been about Paula Jones. That was the press, not the Republicans, that lost sight of the issue.

And I'll say it again, I could have cared less who Clinton was getting it from. I was happy to hear that he didn't have to beg it from Hillary.

I have to tell you... Clinton is guilty... yes guilty... in his poor taste in women. He ceratinly could have done alot better with his position and all.

The only weapons of mass distruction ever to be found is still there... between Bushes ears. Although he may have a secret weapon... Dick Chaney with a shot gun on a hunting trip.

Yeah, like that's objective and accurate.

I'm not registered with any political party, and am embarrassed to be extorted dues to an organization that publicly supports political parties. And you wonder why they cry when they don't get their way.

Well Tex, ALPA gives to politicians that support their cause. 98% of the time, that is Democrats. Alpa did not invent the system, they just participate. Alpa only gives PAC money to politicians, not dues money. As for getting their way, did you see the elections in November? Alpa also "got their way" by removing the "union strikes are terrorism clause" that some right wing whacko Republican tried to write into the bill that started this tread. Is it really so hard to believe that a Republican would try to outlaw a union strike or unions in general? Not if your paying attention. Oh, and BTW Alpa just helped stop the Bush administration's foreign ownership proposal. I guess ALPA "got their way" on that one too. The times are a changing.

Comparing Clinton's lie about his sex life (who cares?) to the many serious lies we've been fed by the Bush administration is a no-brainer.
Hey Groundgirl,

you are not only an emotional driven, non-flying, whiner but also a chicken.
As soon as someone dares to criticise your brainless blather you have to use your girly status because you can't face the fight. Typical, cut and run. Don't deal with realities just complain that your little world is not fair.
Buh-hu. Next you will start crying and everybody will come to your defense, poor little girl.
Well, as I said before. Get yourself some flight time before you insult any aviator. If you can't stand the heat don't get close to the fire.
