Never miss an opportunity to be an opinionated, close- minded d*ck either!

There are plenty of former military, as well as pilots who agree with me. He did not honorably serve our country, and in my opinion he is an insult to those who did. Now put Senator John McCain on that aircraft carrier and I would be the first to stand and salute!

From the CNN report of that day .....

Moments after the landing, the president, wearing a green flight suit and holding a white helmet, got off the plane, saluted those on the flight deck and shook hands with them. Above him, the tower was adorned with a big sign that read, "Mission Accomplished."

Yeah, right.

You've made your opinion perfectly clear.

Now, can we get back to the subject of this thread?

ALPA-PAC

Take the other crap to another thread folks.

Thanks.

Tony, I am as tired of this political crap as you are. Certain people though keep rehashing it. The thing that I find quite remarkable though is that the ones who disagree with my opinion, as well as all of the male posters who have similar opinions as mine, only choose to respond or attack the female. Let me ask Tony, What does that mean?

For the record, I am an ALPA/Union supporter, and even if it's only symbolic at this point, I am happy to hear that United has formed a committee to make a stand. My experience has been that United has some of the most intelligent, educated, finest pilots in the industry. I'd say many at CAL fit into that description as well.

I'm afraid I'm going to have to call BS on that. Post #3 of this thread is you, offering little more than inflammatory remarks and insults about the sitting President of the United States. To claim that the evoked responses are mean or sexist is simply ridiculous. On the contrary, your posts have provoked the same level (sophomoric or worse) from the opposing camp. All of them miss the point of this thread.

Was there an attempt to insert Anti-Union language into this bill?

Please provide a reference.

If so, who tried to do it?

Please provide a reference.

If so, who prevented it?

Please provide a reference.

See, that's the approach to examining an issue logically, factually. Rather than sling mud about who's the bigger liar or whose lies hurt worst, let's try to act like adults and examine a single topic: The SAFE Ports Act and the part, if any, that ALPA-PAC played in crafting it.

Good. Then you can certainly see the value in getting this thread back on track.

Thanks!!

with a big sign that read, "Mission Accomplished."
Always amazes me how a sign made by the ship, displayed on the ship so their families could see it on TV, is so misconstrued. USS Abraham Lincoln. 10-month deployment, got turned around on their way home and finally made it 4 months later after going to war. Accomplished their mission.

Give it a break folks...Neither the Republicans or Democrats are savvy enough to come up with a sign/image like that.

BTW, before you start typing, I know the folks that made the sign. Ordered by the CO of the ship.

BTW2, RIP my brothers and sisters on the USS Cole, residents of Khobar Towers or all the embassy workers in 2 African cities, who are so easily forgotten by the general public. Why were they in harms way?

And I never understood why we only destroyed stuff in Yugoslavia that the French had the capability to rebuild for them later on. Even more curious after trying to run an intercept on MiG's with French Mirage's when they won't go hot and engage.

Be careful when/where you fling poo.....

Hey UnionSkyGirl,

have you ever flown on JetBlue? I wonder how we compare to those wonderful UAL and CAL pilots? Buy a ticket and put us to the test.
Just make sure the crew is not furloughed from UAL, CAL, USAir or some other wonderful airline THAT KICKED THEM OUT.
My personal experinece, after 5 different airlines, is that the JetBlue group of pilots is the best bunch of guys I have ever worked with. Proud to be one of them.

I agree; it was never describing George W. Bush. It was the Honest Abe's crew.

(A Hummer pilot never lies...)
