Kudos to JetBlue's Pilot Voting Committee!

Good thing that we'll never be able to strike under RLA. Some collective power.

G4 will be first. We’re already starting the mediation process. NMB has no legit reason to not release us. G4 management has demonstrated in full view of the NMB, via the flight attendants their active and verbal disdain for any compromise.

Perhaps you meant "Spirit was a national airline when they struck"....
These terms are pretty much useless anyways. SkyWest is a "Major" as defined by the DOT but I dont think most pilots would consider SkyWest to be a Major in terms of an airline job. Also, getting released to strike has more to do with the political party in office and who decided the NMB makeup.

You guys don't get it. ALPA is purely a per airline union that manifests as a massive corporate entity. BIG ALPA makes a ton of dough and hob knobs with Washington. There is no real unity or brotherhood. Eagle pilots are ALPA and about to lose their jobs to a whipsaw. No one will care.
