In response to the few who continue to *insist* that boobs are all it takes to get a job at a major... Sorry guys but you'll have to find another excuse why you're not getting called. I have a pair, plus very competitive time/quals and just got the "thanks but no thanks" and that was after a buddy got me the interview, not my gender. Embittered rant over.
Maybe you need bigger boobs? Have you seen the selection of 'underboob' on the "Latest & Greatest about Delta" thread?

I doubt that's the problem... My shirt buttons hold on for dear life when forced to wear a button-down for interview purposes. Just sayin', since you asked

Sorry to hear. Which airline, if you don't mind me asking? What's your background? Do you think it was an HR issue? All things considered, it's just a job. I got shot down by ANA before coming to Delta and I learned more from that failure than any amount of interview prep.

It was Jet Blue, the vibe of everyone there was great--all of the interactions I had there were positive. Even the drug test guy from a third party vendor was very cool and tried to put everyone at ease. The lady whom I won't name, but took us back for our interviews was genuinely the nicest lady ever and we spent a fair amount of time chatting and she said "I hope you get this!" Man, I must have dorked up the interview. TMAAT q's were all negative focused, but I still tried to put a positive spin or a "this is what I learned from that" response to each question. I had all my stories in my mind but felt I didn't get a chance to roll out the "good ones" but while I never felt that I completely hit it out of the park with my answers, I didn't walk away feeling like I blew it either. In talking with my fellow interviewees after, I felt I had pretty much the same experience as they did. My background has always been corporate and Part 135, the 135 being with a national company on a super-mid size jet, class II nav, etc. Probably not a HR issue at this point since I don't think they start rooting around until you pass this first phase but who knows. I so far have a perfect safety record and no disciplinary actions etc, my fellow interviewees seemed to be all 121 commuter. Thanks for the kind words, hopefully there is another interview out there for me not too far away best of luck the the rest of my interview class.

Agreed, lucky to have had a contact get me the call...Not sure yet which is worse, no call or feeling like you may have blown your chance for a few years. Plenty of friends with same or better quals not hearing peep yet.

I had a different experience than some other guys. Spent a decent amount of time and worry on a spreadsheet for all my time and it was barely looked at. DAL made sure my AF Form 5 matched my app and that was it. But remember, prior planning prevents **** poor performance!
