Yep, same here. They barely asked about my total time or even my traffic violations. Common sense dictates that if you have been at this long enough, you probably have the flight time and made your mistakes. Be honest and humble. I think they were more concerned about whether one would fit in or not. Every airline has a different corporate culture. For example, DAL weighs a lot on education, GPA, and attendance. We had to bring our official transcripts, and that's the first thing they looked at, even before the flying stuff. It was a great experience.

DAL Hired. October 2012
8000ish Total
4500ish Jet
1300ish heavy
All Civilian
2 degrees, one in Aerospace Engineering.

Unless your going through the SSP at Endeavor, then don't worry about that silly 4 yr degree...
Congrats tho.

Do you mean 2013? I wasn't aware of any hiring in 2012... At any rate, congratulations and welcome aboard!

Better to ace your interview and land the job at Delta AIRLINES than to be grammatically correct and factual on a public forum, Eldee. Still, it would have been something if you had been the only pilot hired in 2012.

Haha, I know right? And "Ace" is a big word Tumbleweed. I really don't know how I pulled it off on the cog test. Lumosity helped a lot. On a side and hopefully useful note I recommend:

1. Memory Matrix
2. Ebb and Flow
3. Raindrops
4. Eagle Eye
5. Penguin Pursuit
6. Memory Match
7. By the rules (Big time)

Lol--thanks...I think. Apps in, 3 internal recs but far less impressive quals than Eldee. We Simple Jack n Jill's may have a while to wait
