Yea I've flown with many ex military protected class guys. Military retirement but must have zero experience or skill, especially with 5+ years on property and thousands of hours at said company. They should've really gotten that experience flying those same customers in an RJ.

Check airman previously
6 years at the regionals

Hired by Alaska. Interviewed on a Thursday and Friday, CJO Friday afternoon. Received a phone call that Friday evening to attend training 3 months later.
30 year military retiree
8.5k hrs
Examiner in 2 airframes.
Helo and fixed-wing time.
