I would give SWA serious consideration. Our work rules and your ability to control your own schedule/pickup extra flying is much easier here than the other three majors. I will finish my probationary yr this month, and will clear just over $100K for the year. Not too bad for new guy sitting reserve at one of the more senior bases. It only gets better with seniority/line holder status.

You will get hired, just be honest and list all of your past mistakes. Time with a good record makes you more marketable. United has said it explicitly, they want honesty...it's better to hire a candidate that can own up to their history than to hire someone with skeletons in the closet.

Congrats! Wow - 15 years at Netjets and you are leaving! That says a lot!!! Maybe you spent way too much time on the XLS...

Thanks!

Yes, all LOR's were internal.
My app was in file since Feb '16.
No job fairs.

Hope this helps. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Cheers!

I just retired from the Army
3400tt
2000 rotary
1400 multi engine fixed wing turbine
650 multi engine fixed wing turbine pic
Bachelors

99% of my fixed wing time is in King Airs, most of that overseas in Afghanistan. I acknowledge that I most likely need to build some experience in a regional in order to get a call from a preferred carrier.

Do any of the regionals out there look better than others on an app/resume?

Thanks!
