Got hired by DAL in this wave.

2013 jetBlue Newhire
Several internal recs

PRIA request has been at B6 HQ for a bit. A bit interested in what kind of interest it might generate being an at-will employee and all that, but so far I haven't heard a peep.

Thanks, my friend, and same to you and all who have served. Much to the detriment of my career progression, I always chose the cockpit instead of chasing the various "stamps" for my record (not very common these days). Absolutely no regrets - lots of excellent flying, airplanes, friends and memories. That said, time to turn the page and create new ones. It will be interesting to start over at 40 something as a FNG in a completely different environment. More character development for us that fit that demographic.

Congrats!! The true wave has not even started and you are on!!!! Barring any unforeseen viruses, terrorist acts, financial meltdowns, monstrous weather phenomenons and war; you have gotten on at an awesome time. Knock-on-wood, enjoy it!!

By the time they figure out they want to fire you, you'll already be gone I suspect youre not the only JB pilot leaving for greener pastures. Congrats and good luck at DAL! Hope to follow behind you soon...

It truly sad but pilot are leaving just after indoc. Instructors are leaving. A friend just finished training and she relayed a story about her sim partner getting flagged during training while not having enough time to finish. 15 days into training and reality hit. Think the apps are out again? Yes.

Good luck to all being hired, coming or going, in 2014.

I've gone back a few pages but couldn't find an answer. Are interview invites still going out from Delta or did that stop back in October 2013? I haven't heard anybody get a invitation letter in months. I understand that Delta will continue to hire in 2014 but has crew resources pulled the trigger yet?

I suppose the tide should be turning now for folks like myself who actually desire to remain at a place like B6 for the long run due QOL. I just need that call now.

What does "getting flagged during training" mean? Could you please be a little more specific as to what happened in this situation?
