Newest AA hire from the late June group: 3000'ish TT, 1250'ish IP..... IP in every platform.... Happy to be on board.

All I can say is be patient, hang in there and so far there is no magic formula to getting hired. I have had app's in since 2010 everywhere and just now getting on board....... If we could create a formula to crack the HR computer codes we would be millionaires....

The HR team at AA is awesome, supportive and energetic and truly happy to have you in from day 1.

Best of luck to everyone waiting and remember patience is key.

Imagine all those 7,000 hour regional FO's out there who have been supporting a family on it for nearly a decade in some places...and you think YOU'RE hungry for the big job...

Like you said, hopefully we all get up and out soon.

Welcome to the waiting game.
Have a just recently retired military buddy who got the call less than two weeks after putting in his app...there is no seniority on the waiting list.

Yeah, who knows. Like someone mentioned before - if anyone could crack this code, they'd be rich!

Indeed, there is not. I NEVER said NOR implied that there was.

But you gotta admit, people that vocalize some rectal/vaginal discomfort over what is a relatively short period of time posess poor SA.

Hence the comment about the waiting game. Even a player with good stats may STILL have to wait their turn. Meanwhile, a player with lesser stats can get recognized sooner.

Apps published late March.
Fix-it in June.
Invited to interview beginning of July and accepted interview slot 3 weeks later due to opening for cancellation.
CJO for Delta with availability in October (so will likely be required to defer 2-3 classes)
Congrats Milky! Are you retiring military or a mid-career escapee? Are you going to get to double dip during terminal? Also, I thought Delta required a DD214 in order to interview. Where you able to obtain one, or did you show up to interview without it?

Congrats MikeF16! Can I ask what you used as your date of availability? Just trying to get a read on how far out from mil retirement to hope for a call.

He'll be a retiree.

They say "214 or orders," so don't sweat that part of it.
