We have taken a pay cut almost every year since 2008 just not in the traditional sense. Health care gutting. Premium pay change. Block hours change. Vacation change. What else. Just because your pay rate changes doesn't mean you receive a raise. That's the JetBlue way.

^^ Exactly. The nickles and dimes over the years often come from such things as vacation, work rules, etc - not hourly pay rates.
Good luck blue guys... You are a class group and deserve better via proper representation. Doesn't have to be ALPA. Do a SWAPA or APA. Get some hard working, level-headed guys to lead the group who have the careers of JB pilots in mind.
Watch management cringe as they realize they can no longer unilaterally bend you over and do their worst.

When was the last time jetblue's management asked for a pay reduction? That's the whole point. Responsible and realistic growth and compensation, which protects the brand and our jobs. That's what we all really want. That's what a career corporation or company is based upon.
Are you kidding???
When was the last time?????
You don't recall your health insurance being "gutted" to the point where it's easily the worst in the industry?????
Pilot compensation has nothing to do with realistic growth.
You are compensated less than the "old concessionary contracts" your peers used to have. Those Pilots were working for bankrupt Airlines and were STILL compensated better than you are EVEN NOW! And, they have since secured even better contracts !
WHY??????
This all courtesy of the DR.
Wake up boy!

But really, the best way JB pilots can better their circumstance? Get hired at DAL or UAL. Even AMR is too much like JB... domestic feed for Global Int'l WBs....

I think you'd find 6,500+ guys with rewarding careers in the narrowbody domestic system would say your statement is complete B.S.
And 80% of those could bid INT tomorrow if they wanted to. But they like what they do.
