A little. He has experience with the SPC, which might come in handy. I think he was Chairman for DAL and National. I'm not personally aware of his other past union functions, but I've met him couple times during BK. He seems to be trade unionist, and have his heart in the right place. I like the guy. Smart, and assertive. I think he's from Chicago, and I'd enjoy being in the room if Carl wanted to start a cliche rant on Chicago-style politics with him.

I disagree with his left wing politics, but think very highly of him as a union guy.
