I Suppose.. I just couldn't find my yard stick for the #@!% measuring contest... So I felt a little left out.

My apologies, carry on ;)

Why do you guys there at G4 think this has come about? I didn't look up all the financials , but the stock is definitely sky high. I assume you're (the company) is getting good to great returns, so why drop the hammer on the work force as it seems they've done?

Just doesn't make long-term sense. I mean I guess you could say just to eek out a bit more in bonuses or stock options in the short- term, and I guess that flies. But really, the kind of thing that the OP posted are things that push you (your company) into dangerous waters going forward.

Just wondering aloud what the motivation could be.

P.S. Also a Delta guy and former regional guy. Tsquare most definitely does not speak for us all.

Your ruler starts out at 4? How can anybody compete?

Delta equals the Borg. Love it. Retired military andTwenty five years at the "Borg" and now eight years out....yes, there is another whole world of aviation out there. "I actually talked to a regional pilot". Priceless. And DAL pilots wonder why there isn't a lot of love lost for them. Good luck G4 guys.

Yea thats all it was, just a little poke for fun...It's like taking a pot-shot at Hipsters, too easy to pass up.......I'm completely average, just like the next clown......

....i've never done this online-forum thing before, everyones wound so tight..... just like at our respective airlines I guess.....i've learned in all these years not to take this stuff so seriously anymore......the careers totally trashed for a lot of folks....it's become a pretty sad way to have to eek out an existence....especially for the poor bastards who have to commute to this garbage......my wife keeps asking me questions about why the industry is the way it is and everything that comes along with it...i cant even produce answers anymore, out of ammo....

Greed.

That's it. Not to mention a fundamental hatred for labor (especially ORGANIZED labor). We are not considered assets. We are not viewed as the only thing that has prevented an event with catastrophic loss of life. We are not seen as the ones who keep the operation going in spite of the way the operation is structured. Nope, we are viewed as obstacles. Obstacles that get in the way of multi-million dollar dividends and stock buybacks for the largest shareholders (who just happen to be the ones running the company). The stock price is all that matters. Safety? Customer Service? Employee relations? Ha! Poppycock!

It's what you get when you click on one of those internet ads that say you can enlarge your manhood. :(

The other product they offered was a piece of string and a brick but I was a little suspicious when they said it was "half off."

Take it all out of context toolbag. I couldn't care less what you think anyway. Enjoying your retirement?
