Yeah the back is loud. Those are the cheap seats, anyway. The ones that matter are quiet. Wish they would refurbish them.

Guess you've been lucky non-revving. You may feel different when you're stuck back there for three hours, like DFW-PHL.

If by Refurbish, you mean Turn into beer cans, Then I agree. Can't happen fast enough.

Serious. AA has 179 or so MD 80's. Why won't they?

They're gone in a few years. There's more cost involved than just bring the things on.
