In my experience with frontier, (about a year and a half) the company has not done anything to me that was a violation of the contract. I have not had a single pay issue, and have been paid every penny they owed me.

I stand with the union 100%, but I don't want people interested or recently hired to think it's worse than it actually is. I've been very happy here. Good luck to everyone.

We aren't amendable for a while and all that will be is a countdown to at least 5 years of Section 6. Go someplace where the crap is similar, but at least you will get paid correctly and you won't feel like needing a shower after talking to management.
Sounds like G4.

Right! In all honesty, there is a lot of old G4 management at F9. It sounds identical to what is going on over here. There are guys here who haven't had a correct pay check for 15 months and we are suing the company in federal court for violating status quo. Good luck to everyone over there. Keep fighting the good fight. It sounds like horrible management keeps circling the drain and never goes away.

The highest book rates were supposed to become effective 1/1/15. The CBA was extended in BK along with the requisite pay cuts but we snap back to the highest rates on the amendable date in an effort to negotiate from original book rates vis a vis negotiate from concessionary rates.

I think the OP is speaking the truth. While every pilot may not experience the iron fist of pilot payroll or the intentional violations from Skeds both scenarios are a daily occurrence. Back when I interviewed they intentionally walked you down a hallway lined with large billboards containing the Company's core values;

SAFETY: People are priceless.
RESPECT: A co-worker is a neighbor; a customer is a guest.
TRUST: We're only as good as our word.
COLLABORATION: We're in this together.
VALUE: We don't charge for the extra mile.
PASSION: This smile is real.

These values were important to everyone at the G.O. and they were important to everyone on the front lines. Today they are dinosaurs, completely extinct. Indigo has a different perspective....

SAFETY: Accidents are expensive so safety comes up from time to time, but if you cite safety/fatique as an operational issue we will dock your pay.

RESPECT: A co-worker on the front lines is no longer your co-worker. We outsourced those jobs to the lowest bidder. A customer is a guest...one time. We will train them never to fly us a second time but there are plenty of fish in the sea.

TRUST: We are only as good as our word..and every word out of our mouth is a lie. We lie so much it is almost scary, we may be sociopaths.

COLLABORATION: We are in this for the money. We will trick you into thinking some of the money will be yours but we will f you out of every penny. We are in this for the money.

VALUE: We don't charge you for the extra mile, but you're gonna pay for EVERYTHING else. (On a side note I can't type this one without laughing/crying. Oh how things have changed)

Sounds like the remnants of your dark days under the RAH umbrella. RAH, (along with the numb nuts at the IBT), made a full frontal assault to destroy everything about Frontier and bring them down to the regional level.

A regional that flies big jets. Sadly, this is what the industry is coming to if people continue to accept this kind of job. By using it as a "stepping stone" to something better you're ensuring that "something better" will descend to this lower common denominator.

For those of us not part of the trust-fund club we have to work and I've not a met a person here that hasn't improved their financial situation by taking this job. If I had taken a job at AirTran, one of the lowest paid carriers at the time, I'd be sitting on one of the best salaries right now at what is the largest and most stable domestic airline in the country. United furloughs what? 1,000+ pilots every decade? American has had folks let go for what? 15 years? You roll the dice wherever you go. If you actually wanted to make real money you'd leave this industry, go back to school, and/or enter a profession that isn't becoming exponentially easier and obsolete with technology. Gosh I guess the pay will only go up! I mean that's the trend since deregulation, right?
