You're told wrong.

Any AT capt who finished with AT who could hold capt and bid it went straight to Capt from indoc.

Not to mention that many of those took off a couple months at full pay waiting for the class date.

This is only like the 3rd or 4th time I posted this.

You've got to be kidding. I honestly don't believe that English is your first language.

Not intended as an insult, even though I'm sure you'll take it that way. You've made mention of your poor writing skills yourself and I noticed well before you made it public.

Just sayin' I think English isn't your strongest language.

[QUOTE=Brakes Set;1894254]Did you just read the well written post below you?

How do you say "Absolute Lie" about the seat loss?

When the AirTran pilots came over - were they a Captain? Did they get paid the Captain rate or the First Officer rate?

Were they addressed as First Officers or Captains? The answer I am told is First Officer.

When they passes that first check ride were they a First Officer or Captain? The answer is First Officer

When they had their very first IOE trip on the line as a Southwest Airlines pilot - were they in the left seat or the right seat? The right seat.

Was there any AAI pilot that transitioned over directly into the Captain seat ? I am told no.

Brakes Set........you really need to stop. Just some advice from a fellow Marine. Seriously........where they addressed as Captain? Stop it. Damage control........please. No one calls me Captain unless they don't know me. Trust me that most know me and I consider them to be friends. Not folks that need to call me "Captain."

Even I will say they lost their seat....for how long is debatable. Frankly "their" seat is also debatable since the majority of their pilot group voted (or gave authority to their MEC) to concede said seat for a measly 300 (or so) seniority numbers. Just stop. My sympathy chip is damaged beyond repair.

It's academic.

Why do the SWAPA guys get so offended when you factually represent the events up to date?

Call me a liar at your peril. For much of this debacle i was in the room.

SWAPA stood back and let SWA strong-arm ATN/ALPA.

4 members of ATN/ALPA lied outright to the membership.

The ATN MEC was recalled because of the decision to deny the ATN rank-and-file the vote.

EVERY ATN CA lost their seat. All ATN pilots transitioned as FO's and had to re-bid, get awarded and pass upgrade/UOE.

I've moved on. I say a strong unified SWAPA (and ultimately, Southwest) is vital to our continued success and survival. I push wheelchairs. I fold seatbelts.

It's your choice.

If you never flew a trip as an FO how were you an FO?

Thank You Mathew.

ISeat are you going to still debate the point or keep repeating everyone is not being truthful?

Mathew just verified the behavior of SWA and SWAPA. Also, ATN ALPA MEC. I really wish someone was able to post a transcript or something in relation to that phone call.

Should we end it here on the words of The Oscar and Mathew? Yes from me.
