With everyone hiring there are much better airlines to go to work for. Yes we have retirements coming and a lot of them. Everything else is a complete mess, our management, contract you name it.

I will have to disagree with you there.

AA has some issues with employee relations, but United is a trainwreck. Mgmt at UAL is absolutely incompetent.

UAL has a pretty good contract, but Jesus Christ, their IT systems still seem to crash every week or two. I'm pretty sure no airline, and maybe no business in history has ever had such awful, persistent, and consequential IT troubles from a merger. Got some serious problems to overcome.

I'll take less-than-employee friendly mgmt. over that stuff any day.

DAL has all kinds of happy campers for now-but they have one old as hell fleet and are giving away all their profits rather than paying for some new planes. Not the smartest move I have ever heard of.

The airlines are (and always will be) a roller coaster industry. You really can't could on anything staying "good" or "bad" very long at any particular carrier.

So when is the next big career fair where the big 3 will be in attendance? OBAP in August?

OBAP at a minimum. Don't know if there's another (FAPA???) before that.

Yes. The 1% female, yellow and brown skin pilots are holding back the white male.

Had a military instructor tell me how he hated women in the Navy, that was my first flight with him, I am sure he gave the girls a fair evaluation.

Average age of Delta's fleet is 17 years old. Target age is 15 years old. They don't want any airplane past 30 years old. New A321, A330s and A350s start arriving next year. MD88s start getting parked in 3 years, or earlier if they can find a suitable replacement.

Sun N Fun career fair April 6th. Although not a "big" career fair, everyone will be there.

United will not be at OBAP as far as I know.

I'm not, but now I see. No "big 3." I assume that explains things. Although they all three are sponsors and an American recruiter said they would be there. Guess we'll see.
