Yep you got it all figured out. No need to teach you how to fly the NAT tracks and proper diversion techniques. No need to teach you how to properly make position reports over Africa. No need to teach you how to fly meters in China or how to fly QFE in Russia. No need to teach you how to deviate around weather in every theater in the world, because you of course know that they are all different. All those years of experience operating in those parts of the world don't mean a thing because you have a couple hundred hours in an RJ.

Local knowledge is invaluable! And local knowledge comes from experience. Do us all a favor in stay in your RJ because the day you stop learning and think you know everything is the day you become unsafe, and a danger to everybody.

Your post just gives further credit to your mental capacity.

Is the Yellow Bus flying the NAT or heading down to Western Africa. Wow, expansion is really picking up. Those Kinshasa layovers are really fun I hear. Just remember to broadcast in the blind on 126.9 that 3rd tier pilots are coming down the airways.

I'm a United pilot and the pilot I responded to, so I understand, is a PSA pilot. So neither one of our posts had anything to do with Spirit.

Sorry to confuse you.

Based on your logic, why do we bother doing IOE, LOFT training and so on? So jumping into an Airbus is the same as flying the RJ? Since you said, "it's all the same after that". If what you say is true. Why are there RJ pilots washing out of training at Spirit, Delta, United and so on? I mean, it's all the same right?

Hhahahah, you're such a dumb redneck. We will get a contract eventually but you'll never upgrade at SWA and will forever remain an ignorant hillbilly. I've read your posts on here and you might be the dumbest POS I've ever come across..........and that's saying a lot coming from me

attacking a southwest pilot and attacking a alaska pilot. maybe the problem isnt them and instead its you?

What this troll doesn't realize is that there is a vast amount of experience at Spirit. Many pilots from operators such as World, Omni, DHL as well as other charter and heavy operators. All Spirit pilots fly everywhere in the system at some time or another, both domestic and international. We fly to many challenging airports. Our pilots have more experience across the board than a Delta or American pilot who only serves a handful of big cities out of a hub on their specific aircraft for domestic only or international only ops.

yeah there are some guys from world omni dhl etc. but by n large the majority of newhires at spirit are from other regionals. youre delusional if you think your pilots are more experienced than a delta or american pilot. their equipment also does various flying like your single equipment. though i may have to take that back. after all at spirit you dont just do your pilot job. youre the dispatcher + fueler + ops caller + and all the crap you guys do even one year after amendable date. at a real airline like delta those pilots dont have to do those things because their airline is run competently. spirit has become a joke.

Because it seems it's not all Guns 'n Roses over there in your igloo, either.

Glass houses, we both live in.

Well, ice is like glass, so the analogy still fits.

alaska is a legacy airline that has a long history. the pay and some of the work rules arent that great and need to be improved but no one from spirit can call out alaska. in comparison spirit is like the regional of the major world. try getting hired at alaska and compare that to getting hired at spirit its complete night n day difference. your captains make less than 80 percent of alaska fos.

What's the name of this thread again? Those Alaska, SWA, and pilots from other airlines comes on this tread and take jabs at a handful of Spirit pilots. What did you think was to happened?

What in the wide world of sports are you talking about? Which numbers are you cherry picking to make that claim?
