What in the wide world of sports are you talking about? Which numbers are you cherry picking to make that claim?

Maybe he is referring to the fact that it takes close to a decade to upgrade at Alaska.

Based on your logic, why do we bother doing IOE, LOFT training and so on? So jumping into an Airbus is the same as flying the RJ? Since you said, "it's all the same after that". If what you say is true. Why are there RJ pilots washing out of training at Spirit, Delta, United and so on? I mean, it's all the same right?

Put them in the airbus and they should float right through training.

Well, this is unscientific, but here goes:

Number of DHL/World / non RJ guys that have attempted to overspeed the bus on me due to their
pathological need to be in vertical speed = 0.

RJ guys = common occurence.

Even worse lately with the higher CI's we are using

The only way I can see this being close to true is our 4th year CA pay is $131. (based on our 3 year upgrade). Alaska have a very senior group of FO (2007 is the most junior according to APC). Alaska's 8th year FO is 131 also. It's a bad comparison using someone who's been with the company for 4 years vs 8 years. what he forgot to mention is how long the upgrade at Alaska is  At least we don't don't have a bunch of E-175 with Yellow paint, flying routes such as PDX-STL or PDX-DFW. I'm not saying this justify our low pay but, Alaska has it's own problems.

No break needed. The only attempted break is Vmo.

I concur with this observation and double down.

That's odd. I'm an RJ guy, but never had any great affinity for VS. Maybe I was a bad RJ guy?

I'm a fan of letting the plane descend at 1000 fpm until a point determined by crazy French logic, then nose diving for your altitude. It's more fun that way.

I like how everyone simultaneously embraces and denies being low tier on a thread about low tier Spirit pilots.
