Oh, did you see their earnings for the last 5 quarters!

I just checked prices on three city pairs for 5/13. All NK flights had a $35 bag added. All non-stop. Lowest price flight selected. Prices below.

DFW/DAL to LAX/SNA WN $202.98 NK $143.09

DFW/DAL to ORD/MDW WN $221 NK $143.09

DFW/DAL to FLL WN $222 NK $173.09

What NK prices are you comparing to WN to get 25% more?

Those bags of peanuts and a small cup of drinks are not free. That's the reason for the price difference.

If you're gonna compare please use the same cities, not some co-terminal logic. I also stated there was a carry-on bag fee included in the equation as well. Nice try! Same scam as Spirit's web site.

Another GMAFB

Nice try what man? What are you getting at? You continue to just verify what I said. Spirit has created multiple revenue streams over SWA.

Here at F9 we are getting the same sentiment from management, It's sad. Keep fighting for what's right, I do believe ULCC is the future model, but we should not be compensated as second tier.

We (Frontier, Spirit, and Allegiant) are technically 3rd tier

Bob made it clear that we are on one tier, Jet Blue is above us, and then there are the Legacy carriers above them.

I do believe we are still on a higher tier than freshly minted CFI's and some pt 135 C210 cargo operators, operating between 0200-0500 EDT.

What part of Ultra Low Cost Carrier is not understood?

Perhaps you have a comprehension issue on this one. "Cost," as it relates to the price of a ticket, not compensation. SWA proudly calls themselves a "Low Cost Airline," so I assume their employees (some of the highest all around in the industry) should take a lesser wage, simply because of the "low cost" in their business model.

Irony can be defined as an ex-Eastern pilot, like yourself, who struck in the 80s because Lorenzo felt your pilots were worth less than nothing, telling pilots today they should accept low wages because management says they are "low tier" for their ULCC airline. Sounds like something ol Frank Loreanzo would make a case for.

Asks the guy who himself clearly doesn't understand.

Ask WN how they manage some of the highest wages in the industry all the while maintaining their "LCC" business model.

You beat me to it.

Either way, GF gets a "High Five".

Sadly, I'm about four short. Hope it'll do.

He's either a buddy of Jyri or your typical troll. Either way ignore him. Fares here have decreased YOY. CASM is one of the lowest in the world. Only dirtbags like Jyri and Bendo want you to believe that our contract is what makes or breaks the profitability of this airline.

Take a look at that earnings call and see how many millions this place wastes in mismanagement. Remember the meltdown last June? That cost $20 mil alone. They can afford to pay us what we are worth.

In the meantime continue to call daily. I'm not picking up. Go find someone else to clean up your mess. And if you can't maybe this airlines prayers will get answered and Jyri and Bendo will be shown the door

Our profit margins are higher than that of a legacy. If anything, our compensation should be higher, because there is more pie to go around.

Let's not forget the water, soft drinks, etc. You see if people don't avail themselves of ancillary items Spirit and Allegiant are dead! It is your cost structure that won't be able to support the "Bare Fare".

Isn't that kind of the point. People will always buy extras just like Disney expects you to buy a $20 burger or more when you visit the park. Some won't buy it but most will and raising the ticket price to include lunch would probably scare people off especially those that don't want to $20 crappy burger. Pay for what you want not what you dont

Yes I see how that philosophy has hurt Jet Blue and Southwest! Of course there's always gonna be the third tier passenger that can't figure out the scam!

All the way to the bank baby....

Tell me more stories about the good ol days, Grandpa....

I'm not your friend, guy!

I'm not your guy, pal!

The point is, we're not getting a payday. Hence, the low and worsening morale amongst the pilot group.

I added the fee for carry on and checked bag. Even toss in $5 for a drink and peanuts. It still comes out less than SWA prices. I still don't see where you're getting the up to 25% more.

I thought you were "Peace out"...couldn't stay away, could ya....

And I never claimed to be mature...You're the one calling everyone out for not being mature, all the while demonstrating the maturity you would see from one of your grandchildren.

Speaking of which...spend time with your grandkids, don't waste your golden years on these forums.
