A Spirit guy saying that the Big 3 products suck? Wow.....
So you're definition of a good "product" is 100% about the tightness of the a%^ of the cabin crew. You mentioned it twice. Have you flown on Norwegian? I have. It's nothing special.
Oh and your example of Cathay? Yeah, check their financials. Airline profits are about more than how tight the skirt is of the flight attendants. It's a big world out there, and the US Airlines operate on a macro scale.

Trump is only one person.
Even if he has the authority to overturn the decision, the pressure to not do so will come from the other 535 elected officials in DC, whose constituents, especially those in the populous areas which NAI plans to serve, already feel entitled to cheap airfares to everywhere.

Too much guard monitoring and not enough reading comprehension?

You seem happy at NK. Glad for you. Hope that it works out and you guys get some more money soon.

I see a lot of posts saying that "LCC's will be OK, as their focus is domestic. NAI will never be able to fly point-to-point in the US!"
Let me ask you this... if it was this easy for them to get flag-of-convenience... how hard will it be to advocate for cabotage?
The same John Doe that only cares that a ticket from Vegas to Europe costs $69 won't give a damn that his $49 ticket from Vegas to JFK is flown by foreign pilots.
All of us are vulnerable.

I hate the idea as much as anyone, but unfortunately the flights are legal under the open skies agreement. US agreed to it and delayed it as much as they could. Ethically I hope it goes away, but even if the mighty president overturns it and disregards the agreement, US carriers could be banned from flying to the EU. What would be the best solution?

If I knew how to quote two of your posts in this one post, I'd quote the post right above this one, where you predict the LCC's will be the only airlines left, after NAI puts all the legacies under.

People still buy tickets on Asiana. It would take multiple crashes in short succession to even be a factor. Let's be honest, a 200 hr guy can do just as good as a 10,000 hour guy in almost every scenario. In fact at AA the flows are a huge training issue, and they have tens of thousands of hours.
