The Disney Company is apparently poised to start acquiring small, regional carriers in 2021.

Dang. I didn't realize large, successful corporations telegraphed their plans to make large capital expenditures 2 years ahead of their plan to pull the trigger.

I would shoot for major/legacy 737 rates. I get $136 per hour on year 3 pay, and get a 15% 401k contribution. Healthcare is also premium free, with $2500 max out of pocket per year.

Ok, I appreciate you and the others that have answered what they hope for us. I’m not expecting legacy rates, but something comparable in the cargo world of 737 flying. I’m hoping/expecting rates for that aircraft along the lines of Spirit/Frontier/JetBlue and not just Southern’s old rates, but that will be up to the negotiationing committee and the MEC.

Watch your MEC Chairman
He will sell it like a hot cake whatever management proposes
Sad but history will repeat itself with him on the table
The print shop fiasco during contract 2003 got him to say yes to everything
Oh I forgot, the other musketeer from the print shop fiasco joined management right afterwards .
