This would also be a good time to remind all that the 300% pay currently expires on July 31. Please wait for an email extending it into August before picking up open time. I’ve noticed DFW FO open time is drastically lower than previous months

Type ratings are worthless without time on type. I think it is a wise choice by JO, but this puts heat on Mesa pilots to fight for industry standard pay for this type of flying on the 737. If you look at Southern, Swift, and a few others, probably close to it already. However you also need to fight for the same benefits like home basing, which also means having hotels paid for while at the hub.
737 is just another airplane, but not having to deal with TSA, FA's, and only dealing with cargo hub security brings a new level of QOL in itself.
