If I had to guess, JO is probably going to seek the same rates as Southern/Swift/Kalitta Charters II, etc. Will be interesting to see.

Rumor is since the 73' is a 50 seater or less (two pilots and a jumpseat) they will give CRJ-200 pay. Justifying that you are getting a 737 type rating out of it.

To be honest, I think the 73 type rating is worth a lot of money itself. I still hope and think that we'll get a fair pay rate for it though!

Keep hoping. This is Mesa. We are about the lowest paid pilots in the FFD carriers. Envoy just blew us out of the water with their pay hike. C5 might be close to us.

That has absolutely nothing to do with it. You’re oblivious to the situation. I think it’s good, with the looming pilot shortage I think integrating 737 as a starting jet is a good idea. I honestly believe Mesa and Jo are on to something here, and it will not only better the advancement of the industry for mainline and new guys, but it will lead to safer operation of mainline aircraft in the future.

Our FOs make pretty much the same And our 700 Captain rates are pretty much the same as theirs. So Mesa and Commutair the lowest paid with Mesa making marginally more. For planes that have 20 more seats
