Not to be a tool, but you say pay you what your worth which is.... basically what your willing to accept for pay. I hate when people say "Pay me what I'm worth." I bought my house for $200000 in 2004. "My worth" of my house is way more than that today but I understand that's it's only worth what someone will pay me for it. Just because I've calculated my house to be double that does not mean I'll get it. I'll fight for it. But I understand how this works. We as pilots say pay me what I'm worth, the big three dictate what your worth by having a mainline and a regional. We all strive for the top tier high paying airlines. Everyone is not going to make it, period. Why? Not enough slots, plus management likes two tier system with regionals it keeps the second most expensive expense in check next to maintenance, payroll. I'll ask any mainline pilot this. Are you willing to take 15-20% pay cut to bring in all the regionals pilots create one real ALPA union helping reduce the cost of labor on your mainline flying and bring us into the fold. Or would you rather keep your current pay and fight for more money now while these airline managers keep the two tier A and B scale going. You said were selfish just trying to see how selfish you are. Not picking a fight just being real.

I work at Mesa nothing wrong here, just have to get pay better. No different than any other regional except for pay. Confirmed by other pilots who jumped ship and ran to other regionals. I ask how is Envoy, PSA, GOjet, endeavor, ect. I hear the same thing. No better really same stuff just higher pay, and maybe a flow which is the only reason to go to another AA wholly owned regional. No shame to my game. I work at Mesa and its not bad. Yes I'm trying to escape but I would be doing the same if I was at Endeavor or Envoy. I came to Mesa because when I was looking it was the only place that did not have reserve back then.

Nothing quite like the entitlement of this new generation.

The way the boomers act, if they were hitting it out on their own today with how things are, they would be in the fetal position crying for their parents to rescue them.

What about the entitlement of the older generations that got to skip the regionals altogether? Sorry, but I don't think a more entitled generation exists than the baby boomers. Outside of aviation they had many careers to choose from, all promising a pension, excellent retirement, great benefits, affordable housing, etc.

Your understanding of history is very warped.
