Everyone is different. 48 looks pretty good compared to nothing.

Also bonus. You think the WO will still have the bonus money? Lol.

Wouldn’t be concerned about bonus money when you’re making $12k a year more just out the gate. Add in the 50% premium right now and there’s your bonus. Literally $40k more a year than mesa.

If ALPA is correct and it’s a pay not a pilot shortage they’ll soon be full. If the bonus is still required to attract pilots then look out for a retirement age increase.

All of that constantly changes based on hotel availability.

There is no hotel in walking distance to the training center. Transportation is provided.

During our training we didn’t have kitchens in the rooms. At first it seemed like a big issue but once you get going with training and all the studying I’m not sure I would have wanted to take the extra time to do a bunch of cooking/cleaning dishes. I just went to the store and stocked up on things I could make in the microwave and just made it work.

There is about a 20% chance (in my opinion) that new hires will get placed in the homewood suites. This hotel has a kitchenette with basic pots/pans/ silverware. But as others said…it all depends on availability at the time the company books you.
