When will training restart

That's a company business practice, again not in violation of the MX program. The post I replied was making it appear that the company just applied the MEL and never bothered to do the repair.

The MX program is "blessed" by the FAA (as you put it) because it meets the criteria set forth in the orders and guidance.
How the company applies it is their business as long as they don't violate the agreement. If someone could point out what exactly your airline is doing that doesn't comply with their approved MX program, I'm sure the FAA would listen.

If you are disagreeing with what I said, are you then advocating MESA is rolling 30 day deferrals to day 29 because it “meets the criteria set forth in the orders and guidance” (as you put it)?

The MMEL sets forth the criteria, and the operator can use that or be more restrictive.

I'm not advocating anything. The MEL has provisions that set time frames for the item to be repaired. If an item is written up and then allowed 30 days to be repaired, and the company for whatever reason waits to day 29 to repair and clear the discrepancy, then accordingly they haven't done anything wrong.

So how does an airline do that? Does the write up and the MEL'd item just disappear? Does the problem magically fix itself?
Or are you implying the item is MEL'd, and never fixed? If so, how is the airline getting around the time requirements?
I'll wait on your answer.

You'd be surprised how many pilots have no idea how an MEL actually works.

Yeah no. You’re either really gullible, or you just love being the internet douche that feels the need to come to the rescue whenever a sarcastic or exaggerated comment is made. I’m assuming the latter. Internet tough guys are always the funnest to watch.

It's fun watching people making ridiculous claims on forums then they are unable to back them up when questioned and provided facts.
