But yeah, it wouldn't change much. But just getting those lazy no good people out of the ALPA office would be a good enough reason for me to vote for them.

Your MEC officers can be recalled w/out voting the Teamsters in. Don't be foolish! Why trade a substandard MEC for a substandard union???

Well said......you do not want Teamsters......no offense to Teamsters but they simply do not have the resources that ALPA has.

Very well said, and that's an excellent point.

I guess it doesn't matter to me now. I was furloughed yesterday. Those cheap buggers even wanted me to send them my wings and epaulets. I gladly did. Keep it.

Sorry to hear that Irish, but maybe you'll realize like I have that it's for the best anyway... to hell with that pos company. The funny thing is, on unemployment, I'm only making about $500/month less than when I was working there... how sad is that? Do you know how many more were let go this month? I was one of 58 last month, and with all the crap going on, I have no regrets. As for the wings and epaulets, when I went to turn in all my manuals the guys could've cared less what was turned in. All they really wanted was the crew badge. I kept my wings on the principle that I paid for those damn things! Then I threw them away..lol... anyway, hang in there, take care and good luck to all of us!

I'm not going to comment on an ongoing dispute at ALPA, but I will agree that everyone should talk to Don McClure. Good guy. I've walked a picket line with him. Have you?

Why not comment? As an MEC officer, aren't you the least bit ashamed that the very labor union that has fought against the union busting tactics of people like Lorenzo, Icahn, Orenstein and Joe Leonard; the original CEO of your carrier that was founded as an anti union property and staffed by strikebreakers...is treating their employees the same way those pariah's have treated others? And doing it with union member dues money?

Walk a picket line with McClure? When you were likely in grade school.

Was this picket line walking done before or after you, PCL_128, attended and flew for Gulfstream International Academy?

Yawn.....thanks for the pointless contribution, or should I say lack thereof, to the thread.
