Hey facebiter, passed my oral today! They were "very forgiving" lol! I told 'em I didn't feel like coming in for it, they said that was OK lol! So they texted me a few questions! Like, how many wings do we have, what kind of engines (jets!), what happens when you pull back on the yoke? lol! I had to look a few of them up, but texted the examiner back, and he said I got most of them right! Faxed him my 8710, he signed it, and now on to the sim! lol!

Probably true. #bottomfeeder #mesasux I heard from my brothers sisters roommate that his student had 30 DUIs and got hired over a text message. I'm secretly jealous because I'm a 7 year FO at _______ airline. So the only way I can convey my jealously over your quick upgrade is to talk $hit.
Bro fist, bro out.. Bro pump.

So what's the scoop with this massive October bid award I'm hearing rumblings about? This will be the first post-ORD closure award, correct?

Honesty I could care less. More movement for the bottom half of the list.

I think that Bro has an autopilot. That bird is advanced compared to the days of the mighty Beech. Nothing like hand flying a VOR/DME arc step down over 11,000ft. peaks, in moderate turbulence, moderate icing, blizzard conditions, at night into Ely, NV. But I did see the Bro come directly over San Jacinto peak at night, (nasty visual) into Palm Springs about a year ago. I was like, AH, miss those nights, chop and drop, turboprop pilot's kickass. Twice the pilot, half the pay. I earned my wings after my check ride. I grew balls after flying a Beech. From the Nor-Easters, to the Midwest Squalls and the Big Granite west. All pilots should start in a turboprop.

I believe there will be some early retirements on this CLT displacement for sure. Guys were already ****ed with the 11 days off, 77 hour lines in CLT. But DFW should see better lines with longer flights. It all depends, how much have I saved over the years?
