Guys Mesa training is not hard.
Flaps will tell you... I learned my call
outs and flows during sim 1....
Oh and make sure you have Netflix loaded for ground school and sit in the back row.
Or maybe it is hard and I'm just a genius.

So what's the deal with the SkyWest flying out of PHX? Somebody today said he thought their contract was up in October, but I don't know him so take it with a grain of salt. Still, US/AA doesn't want 200's flying around Phoenix forever, and word on the street is JO has been lobbying pretty enthusiastically to bring that flying back.
Anyone with more information on that front?

It's hard to say for certain since everything is covered by non-disclosure agreements until publicly announced. Anything anyone says is purely conjecture, including what I am about to say.
The -200 flying Skw does out of PHX is at a loss for them. The reason they are doing it is because it is less of a loss versus having those aircraft parked awaiting their lease expiration. The leases on those aircraft expire at the end of this year. I also understand the -900 flying has some tie to that.
So read between the lines there and who knows? There's a reason the training department is gearing up for a huge influx.

I would bet your influx in the training department has something to do with Mesa's massive amount do growth and soon attrition.
