I was offered a class date after a phone interview over a year ago, the offer came in an email about 3 months after the phone interview, and by the time I got that offer I had just completed training and signed a contract for 18 months with a 121 cargo feeder company. So I very politely turned down the offer explaining the reason why.
I am considering applying again for the Ejet, anyone knows how much they pay during and after training? Any information on the training is welcome. Pass/wash out rate?
Thanks!

Does that apply to new-hires getting their first base assignment or to guys moving voluntarily when seniority allows?

It applies to everyone that had CLT listed as their base when the closure was announced. You need to provide proof of the address that you're leaving/relocating to as a result of the closure.

Shoot. Well, one day I'll get United to pay my moving expenses to Guam and get that 2nd year pay bump, then sip mojitos on the beach between trips. One day...

Oh wow, that is really low pay.
For me that would mean around a 30% pay cut going from a turboprop (121 cargo) and a nice schedule, to a jet and probably a crappy schedule.
Not sure I can do this until they improve the pay a little.
What's the average perdiem you can get monthly?
What about the pay increase after the first year pay torture?
Thanks!

Pay goes up to around $29 in the second year. Average per diem comes in at around $500 a month I think.
As for the pass rate you asked about earlier, the training department quotes a 90% pass rate overall.
