American Airlines from 06NOV14 is changing operational aircraft on a number of Los Angeles departures, where current service operated by US Airways Express CRJ900 will switch back to Envoy Air/American Eagle CRJ700 aircraft:

Perhaps temporarily? It kind of sounds like PSA is getting this flying eventually (if it will continue to be flown on CRJ 700's).

And Looks like Envoy does PHX-TUS.. Route this fall. On a side note all of OO's flying is 200's on shorter routes... Wonder were te Mesa stuff will shift too?? DFW i bet.. They proboly want the extra 10 seats in the DFW market on the 900's vs the 700's..

It looks like Mesa will still dominate Tucson.
That said, interesting turn of events. Hopefully Phoenix itself remains a large operation for Mesa.
The CRJ700 aircraft will operate this route twice a day, while US Airways Express operates 9 daily flights.

It could be that JO himself just got blindsided by this. How many planes is AA giving out in total over the next few years, anyway? I'm sure there are a few more planned.
