Anyone recently hired at Mesa needs their head examined... Even our CEO at Endeavor said that anyone applying here would need to get extra medical screening to check their sanity...
Apparently any airline with E170s no matter what the pay or work rules are anyone will apply to, even if you need to sell your soul.

PCLCREW,
Dude you have R. G*mm as your C.E.O. Are you really trying to harp on Mesa with guy who lost Flying for MAG,Then went over to sink Comair, Following Trenary sneaks in to PinnaColaba now endeavor and destroys that too! He's a fungus dude...Born out of Freedom Airlines. Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think he's good for you at all. He left MAG as a Management F.O. Re-hired then furloughed. How's that for pathetic?
Classic example of who get's ahead in this business? He's your C.E.O. What the Heck? He should probably have his head examined right quick as well.

I worked under RG for years. He was an excellent Chief Pilot, who was consistently fair, and stood up for pilots. He was well respected by line pilots. I dealt with him on several occasions over many years. Sometimes because I needed something from him... sometimes because I needed my @SS chewed on a little bit. He always handled everything with predictable equity and common sense. I was not his friend, or his buddy. But I'll call a spade a spade. He was a decent guy who did a very good job under tough conditions.
I don't know the politics but he was let go after Freedom lost the Delta flying and we parked 36 jets. If he was the "reason" for losing that flying... Why would Delta let him come over to Comair? He wasn't the reason for anything! If anything he got a raw deal - but we all get raw deals from time to time. Looks like he's done well for himself - and who can blame him if he's a bit bitter. I don't.

Also... RG was a Captain for years at Mesa. The reason he ended up an FO, is because he got a call to start ground school for a new-hire US Airways class and resigned from Mesa. For whatever reason, by his choice, he changed his mind and returned to Mesa management (it is a free country - almost still). Of course the Union couldn't let him have his seniority number back, so he went to the bottom of the list.

Your criticism of him would have carried a lot more weight if you hadn't categorized his whole career as worthless.
No hard feelings! We need to stick together.
Hey - what's going on? - I heard 10 more 900's put on hold due to American/Airways merger being held up. Is that why classes put on hold?

Was hired over the phone a few days ago, official offer was emailed just a few hours after that.
Possibility of a CRJ class in December, or the first 175 class "around the new year" (date not set in stone). Base for the 175 looks like at first IAH.
Starting CRJ classes are being held a few weeks to allow for the sim backlog to work itself out. Recruiter said that the problem is 100% of those hired are showing up to class, which was not what they were expecting.
As a young CFI with diagnosed SJS, any reason why I shouldn't go with Mesa? Looks like it will be very little time on reserve, with 175 seats being filled with 100% of new hires. Not to mention the likelyhood of a quicker upgrade than almost any other regional out there

That's funny. Yes, I've always had a proclivity toward TMI.
