Few questions...
1.) how many buddy passes do you get? Can people who use buddy passes on travel on mesa operated flights?
2.) how are the non rev bennies? And how much are they per year?...also if you're dfw based, will you get non rev bennies on united or just american?

No idea what American is going to look like. The merger so far has been a major F U to non revving.
No matter the base, you can sign up for both. We don't know yet what our bennies will be for 2015. Soon will know.

When is one entered in CASS/kcm?....I know jumpseating is the last thing one should be worried about, but I'm just wondering.

Thanks

That's been a risk at every airline since the beginning of commercial aviation

It seems pretty likely we'll continue to hire to cover attrition and upgrades for the foreseeable future. "Foreseeable" meaning 3-6 months out.

Thanks

You are entered in CASS when you get your CREW badge. Not the first badge you get, but the second. It usually comes sometime during sim training but maybe longer depending on how long it takes the company to complete your full background check.

You are entered in KCM after you sign up, but you can't sign up until you are released from training at the end of IOE.

Non rev benefits are effective 30 days after your date of hire, provided you signed up for them and have been entered in the respective systems.

With attrition and 7 more CRJs sometime 2nd quarter 2015, I'm thinking more like 12+ months...

Especially with all the majors hiring....

Ya, the hiring at the majors will pick up significantly since that 65 rule should start playing more of an effect. I saw it somewhere with the numbers of all the different majors with just the numbers they are going to loose due to the 65 rule alone and as I recall they were some pretty big numbers. However you can't forget all the lifers at the regionals now with no degree that can't go anywhere, at least for the moment. I guess if things get that drastic then we could see some majors begin to loosen they're requirements on that.
