Agreed on most points, VanDriver. However, I think we could reasonably staff at least a good chunk of them. As for fuel prices, after some thought there's one key difference; we wouldn't own them so they wouldn't be a liability for the company. Once they're no longer financially feasible to operate, we shed them having lost nothing. And thinking a little further, we'd have our foot in the door with Delta again.
That said, the contract terms could be ridiculous as you've stated. And most importantly of all...
Yes x 1000.

Also, in regards to the 7 additional 900's...I talked with KM the other day and he said we have the flying awarded for AA, but the aircraft we were going to obtain from South America are no longer on the market, so we are currently searching for other 900's to purchase.

I've heard that the terms of this Delta contract are pretty ludicrous, and that's why no one wants to take the flying. Its easy to get excited when we hear about new flying, but we are starting to run into trouble staffing what we have. I heard the number of 200's for Delta could be as high as 40! Where are we going to find the pilots to operate them. If that's the case, I hope we turn down the deal. Delta should just continue to take back their regional flying putting mainline metal on it, so we can all move along with our careers... Just my .02.
Are classes not as full as mgt would like?

I don't know the numbers...but in my discussion yesterday he said "its getting harder to fill classes", so take that for what its worth.

Could someone post what a typical mesa 4-day trip looks like in the airways system? I'm curious about average block, credit, TAFB, legs per day ect. thanks

Hmm, that's too much work for airways. After CLT is consolidated into Dfw, it'll be a better representation. 4 day trips often are worth around 18 hours. Some 30 hour layovers. United side out of Dulles has REALY good productivity with 15 to 16 days off.
