Hold on there Killer, I'm pretty sure OO is $24 an hour and no bonus.

They can pull this off because of quick upgrades. I did 12 months at $22 and then about 7 months at $29 and now I'm at $59.

No other regional except maybe PSA could have offered me this type of career earnings over a 2 year period.

And you're right! It is crazy low, as are other regionals!

Don't come here! Less bodies they cqn put in the right seat equals better chance of a new contract!

You're rolling in it now. I used to make $60/hour to fly a turboprop...with 16-18 days off/month. And even better, I still had some self-respect

Are you saying that regional pilots have no self respect?

Probably back in the day when mainline carriers had some allegiance to their regional carriers. Not so much in today's RFP/CPA cut throat environment. Besides, Mesa is operating under a bankruptcy CBA and the regional pilots have very little leverage. Regionals haven't seen upgrades like this since before 9/11.

Since you brought up self-respect......... what do you suggest, to those coming in to the regional industry, do to maintain said self-respect?
