What about having a future? Is that in the report?

I don't think any of my classmates have a line yet but we are all flying a lot.

Good to know. I had considered hanging out in Hawaii until I'm senior enough to hold a line.

The future didn't look so bright at Mesa until the the 175 order was announced. They were giving out jobs by phone interview recently. You can prognosticate all you want but you don't know the future better than anyone else. And by the way you didn't answer me about the quality of your contract. All mainline is doing is giving new airplanes to companies with the worst contracts. This is why mesa and rah were awarded flying. As long as there are pilots out there willing to jump from the bottom of one list to another for the sake of "having a future" there will never be a pilot shortage - even at the regional level. You guys must be drinking heavy quantities of kool aid to think that contractually things are that great at mesa compared to just about every other regional.

What's your take on Delta history with regionals?

With the MRJ delays, some deliveries now projected for 2020....updates on TSA re-fleet?

Hopefully your selection as pilot at TSA works for you.

Replace "worst contract" with "most competitive". When Mesa's union gets their way I hope I'm long gone because that's when things are going to start slowing down. Keep your contract. I hope Mesa management gets their way for as long as possible. It means more flying and a possibly a faster upgrade.

This is management's wet dream. You know you can take another pay cut and be even more competitive.

Avg 91 hours credited per month plus per diem would come out to about $30,000 on Mesa's first year pay. I can think of other entry-level jobs that pay less.

Mainline relationship with any regional is pure business, nothing more. If a company gets too expensive they look for other regionals that can do it for less.

I came to TSA because I live in Dulles and our contract is amazing. It sucks that the MRJ are delayed, but at the end of the day I just do my job. Maybe our company will look at other aircrafts instead, who knows.

30 sec update of your current "position" will save you time typing "you need to get your facts straight...", also reduces the negativity of your comments which will expand your audience.
