Smart move. Everything is about to go junior when LAX and IAH open. Including PHX. 20 more CRJ CA upgrades announced today. Lots of guys holding out for 175 upgrade or so I'm told.

Good to hear! I'm looking to get as far west as possible, and with the exception of skywest/horizon it seems that every regional hiring right now wants to put you in an east coast base. I don't understand why east coast bases are always so junior.

I've been told the first new hire class for the E175 is May 19th, so is this April class for upgrades only?

I hope so, where did you get your info? Is the initial cadre all check airman? It's been a very long wait since my downgrade, ready to pay off some of that debt.

The bid has to come out pretty soon. There have been 30 CRJ CA seats announced (20 formally), how many senior FOs are waiting for the 175 is the question now.

How far down will they go for 30 CA if folks want the 175, I wonder?

How many pilots are on the line now and how many do you all think will be there once all the new aircraft are delivered? Trying to figure out if I'd be too late to the party if I showed up in a few months

Heard there will be a EMB intial FO class in April. With 20 check airman captains in the loop now, when do you guys think there will be a bid for captains? If there are only 2 airplanes on property by June, I would guesstimate that a captain ground school would not start until July. It all depends on how many aircraft are on property. Anybody got any inside info?

I heard no FO's until May unless there was a recent change?

Well if we actually start flying routes at the beginning of June we would have to get FO's in there quicker. Unless they just fly captain on captain for the first month. One month of ground school two weeks of sim is the normal initial training time.
