Anybody got any inside info?
I heard no FO's until May unless there was a recent change?

Well if we actually start flying routes at the beginning of June we would have to get FO's in there quicker. Unless they just fly captain on captain for the first month. One month of ground school two weeks of sim is the normal initial training time.

There will be a lot of captain on captain initially to help get past green on green scenarios. As of now, April is planned at all captains. Of course it's subject to change burnout probable. Regardless, there's a lot of new aircraft coming our way.

Do you mean no new hire class till May or FO training for the EMB till May?

I would think they'd do it like this but I have no idea:

1) Finish training IOE check airmen
2) Upgrade E175 Captains, who then fly 75-100 hours with a check airman sitting in the right seat
3) Once enough E175 Captains are seasoned in the left seat and off "green on green", start cycling in new hire FOs

Both. At least that's my understanding.

We had a big Denver base, CRJs and Dash 8s for United. I think other types earlier, but that was before my time.
