Are you sure your friend doesn't just want to make things sound awful and spread drama? Was it nine that showed out of ten? Was it nine out of 15, with two who didn't show and a couple who couldn't stay due to hours, etc? I was just there a couple weeks ago. The indoc classroom was full. That's 25-ish people. Look at the last couple Marcia Scott emails. The one from 10/9 has 30 IOE completions and a new CRJ/ERJ group of 34 people. The bending of regional airline class numbers is rampant. Anyone who leaves for any reason "failed", so we can make training sound hard and scary. Now I imagine the term "no show" being thrown around the same way.
I don't know how many were scheduled for the most recent class, but there were definitely 9 that showed up. Remember that the training cycle takes about 3 months.. So you were there a month or so ago? That group may have started what is now 3 months ago... I'd say the playing field has changed for recruiting in the last 3 months.

Work hard and study with your sim partner. If you have a lousy sim partner who wont study with you, find a group of people who will. Keep a positive attitude and try to have a good time.
Oh and bring Lysol. That Sleep Inn should be a biohazard zone.

Are you saying you were wrongfully terminated by the company? Also, if I was glad I left a job or career I wouldn't spend my free time hanging out in a forum board for that job/career. I especially wouldn't stay back there picking fights with anonymous internet guys. Aren't there other things in life that interest you that your time would be better spent doing? Let the past be the past, especially if it wasn't part of your glory days.
