Oh boy virtual basing!!! Thanks Dude, for bringing the sh*tastic idea of virtual basing to Mesa. 4 hour deadheads, 3 hour 59 minute airport sits and plane swaps at outstation bases. Try dropping a trip utilizing virtual bases.... Request denied. I'm certain that all those republic guys just loved it with all that they got.

No Ejets to IAD (sorry).
Exploring virtual bases. Sounds like they'd only be around a few months at a time. No thanks.
Mesa might go public again in a year or two.
Engine swaps coming up, will be expensive. Originally an estimated cost of $600 million, got it down to ~$250 million. Waiting on maybe going public til they're done.
Lots of upset pilots about the hotel situation. Allegedly we have hotel costs in line with the other regionals; the pilot on the line called BS and said "Well improving everything shouldn't be a problem then." A guy from the hotel committee even called in.
The open door policy was reiterated frequently to move on to the next caller.
Management is averse to higher pay rates so they can keep growing the company and offer upgrades, etc. instead.
And some general complaining about the iPad situation.
That's about the gist.

Dallas's future is pretty secure. They might build a mx hangar eventually.

We are not getting "NOTHING". Not better hotels, contract, pay or even a dime for a new iPad. Only new hires will get concessions. The day jo gives an extra nickel for a new iPad, he will lock the doors, and say "turn in your badge". Tell me since the last contract, that you got "Anything". And you won't. This is it until the doors close.
I think it is in their plan for the next two or more years to continue to add aircraft to the fleet at a metered rate (JO even said that) in order to keep pay at its current level. They will fill the classes because the quick upgrade will be there for the foreseeable future.
