Enjoy the paid time off....once you hit the line you'll be abused like you would't believe by crew tracking. Just keep up on your callouts, profiles, and flows, and you'll do just fine in the sim.

We were doing them there last summer. I did mine in Toronto, some went to Copenhagen, others MSP or stayed in PHX

Let's not forget while they're sitting at home getting paid before sim they still enjoy $1000 extra money on top of min guarantee.
Must be nice being a new hire these days.

It was just a rumor spread by Envoy FAs who misinterpreted a email that was sent by their inflight team.

I think the tactics of whipsawing pilot groups, and rampant base closures has been put to the side, with emphasis on retaining pilots and providing feed to mainline. Everyone see's the storm coming... My gut tells me that we are not leaving DFW. I however will not move my family to Dallas just for Mesa.

Negative on the $1000 a month extra. There's a stipend for food because the hotel we are assigned does not have microwaves nor laundry facilities nor free breakfast. 1 month gap between ground school and oral and now another big gap between oral and sim. Blessing in disguise? Have time but no money.

You're not going to have any more money than you've got now when you start sitting reserve... Enjoy the time off. You're going to wish you had more of it very soon.

You have a golden opportunity. Do yourself a favor, and while you are getting paid by Mesa, find a new job with Skywest, or Expressjet ect. You will thank yourself latter. They pay double, ("HELLO") way better benifits and work rules. Trust me and everybody else that work here, GO NOW! No new contract for years, or until out-of-business for Mesa.
