I flew Jumpseat recently on Skywest and Express jet on the United side. I really have to say that both crews were a great bunch of guys. I would of thought the Skywest guys would of given me crap, but they didn't, I felt like I was flying with a Mesa crew.
Now the part that really bummed me, their schedules are superior to ours, at least on the American side. Perhaps our schedules in Dulles are on par? Par as in 16 to 18 days off a month at around 90 credit hours? If I can hold a line in Dulles, I'm changing bases. Screw American...

They're not. Keep in mind Skywest has was, 400+ aircraft and we have 100. Give or take. Oh, and Skywest has more departures per day for United then United does.

You make a statement with no evidence. How can you prove to me that they enforce the contract? I can't prove to you they don't. And NO, I won't take your word for it. You are as anonymous as any one of us.

One of my classmates resigned right after the completion of IOE and lost his last paycheck with a letter saying what his balance was. That was in October last year and the last time he heard from them was 3 months ago threatening a lawsuit. He had an attorney try and contact them but they (Mesa) would not return phone calls.

Got proof??? I mean, it is really easy to find proof, all court litigation is open to the public. Find some, not 10 years ago, but recent.

Depends on the state whether they win or not.

Nope and I'm not a naive fool, either.

Why is it that other regionals are able to provide productive lines with 15+ days off a month, and Mesa can not? 11 days off a month is starting to wear extremely thin with me. Spending more than half a month in a hotel, away from my family.

How long would it take for an April new hire that initially got Dulles to get DFW then a line at DFW? Any guesses?
