You can once you are in CAAS but they never told us when that actually happened. I think guys were able to use it within a couple of weeks. Just don't be the guy that runs home for the weekend and can't make it back in time for class.

Sounds like common sense. Did anyone ask when they were enrolled in CASS? Thank you..

Yes the question was asked in ground school and we were told not to jumpseat until we received our crew badges. I want to say I got mine right after my check ride.

Junior Captain is a September '15 hire. In many cases it's as fast as you get the required SIC time, but then you may be on reserve indefinitely. Other places have direct-entry Captains, so we're not necessarily the "fastest."
