New Mesa Thread

Another lie from Mgmt. They built a huge lounge downstairs for Spirit flight attendants and Spirit is paying a real amount for an overnight. Therefore, buh-bye Mesa. It's all about money kids and your masters aren't willing to pay to put you in the hotels that professionals deserve to be put in. I personally loved that hotel but as far as Hilton properties are concerned that one was "B" scale except for Ms Bridgette she was A++. The new ATL hotel is actually the extra old ATL hotel that we left due to being in such a bad area. The area hasn't changed any so keep an eye over your shoulder if you go outside. Good luck getting new hotel language. If I were staying I would still vote no if the new contract didn't have hotel language. Voting with my feet.

Why would any airport hotel refuse consistent business unless:
a) Mesa wasn't paying on time/reliably or
b) Mesa wasn't willing to pay the going rate given present demand in that market
Yet that email claims ATL Hilton Garden no longer accepts ANY airline contracts...hmmmmm

Anyone at Spirit want to confirm/deny if Spirit kept their contract with Hilton Garden ATL? I would love to call Mesa out on that e-mail claiming we lost ATL b/c they "no longer accept airline business."

Asked Hotel management at the 4 points in KC and they said Mesa was between 3 and 4 months behind on payment, so they would not take our business. I don't know about ATL but I figure it's probably the same issue.

Business as usual. Update your apps. Go look at the updated roster on pilot lounge, look at your global number compared to last months, be blown away at how many spots you moved up. Take note, only 5 CRJ people in current class. Danger, Danger Will Robison!

I thought hiring was supposed to slow for the summer? I'm in iad, I haven't noticed the wheels falling off. Is it different at the other bases?
