It is difficult but can be done.
As an envoy guy, apologize for that shi+ head you had. Should have told him he is going to hear trash anyway.

Anyone have an idea how the commute would be SAN-IAH? It's mostly United. Thank you.

Not specifically. But there's pretty much no such thing as a good commute anymore.

I would lose my mind if I was a commuter in/out of IAH right now. Summer loads, all my flights are overbooked with a jumpseater.

You do what you gotta do. Unless Mesa opens a base in San Diego, I'm going to have to consider commuting..Yipee!

In the current hiring environment, why on earth would you commute half way across the country to work for the (by far) lowest paying regional?

If you really want to fly E-170s, apply to Compass and get based at
LAX.

Seriously, isn't every other regional paying $37 an hour first year now?

Why in god's name commute to $22 an hour.

Default Hotel Situation

Hotels were hotly debated on the last company call and they're frequently a source of universal frustration on these forums too. I assumed everyone had been doing their part submitting complaints, but the hotel report we just received by email shows a pathetic amount of apathy. Hotels I thought would get a dozen or more complaints each month had 1. That's really bad. Every single pilot should be spamming the system with complaints each and every time he goes to a subpar property. We all flock to the forums to ***** and moan but can't be bothered to do it through the official channels that will actually effect change?
