New Mesa Thread

If you're talking about on-time performance, I can't be bothered to look up the numbers. However if that's an issue, it's most certainly envoy ground services* to blame.. However that's technically a different company.

In regards to the change in ATL, that hotel was acquired by new ownership and they elected to no longer offer their business to any airline crews. It wasn't just Mesa that was affected.

Not true, Spirit flight attendants started staying there the month before we left.

Has Mesa started offering a sign on bonus to new hires?
#6439
No they have not. Their classes are shrinking as people are dropping their classes. Mesa has some great people, but management is feeding a lie. The upgrades have most definitely slowed, and any new upgrades will be flying in the right seat. I think it's responsible to tell new pilots to find a good regional. Nothing against the crews at Mesa, but it is without a doubt a company that is going down hill quickly between maintenance and staffing. Not to mention our union is in bed with the company so we will never see a TA. We would be better off with Teamsters.

Lots of captain on captain pairings. Lots of requests to pick up open time at 200% pay. Lots of cancelled flights so the crew can be assigned a more "priority" flight.
Should we be worried? could be a long summer... time to update the logbook/resume.
