From the employee conference call, take it for what it's worth.
-Significant growth is imminent, final stages of negotiations for new flying, talked of doubling the size of the company again -mentioned possible acquisition.
-Claimed Mesa will beat growth of any U.S. regional in the coming years by a factor of 2.
-Mentioned all the 50 seaters coming out of service in the next 5 years.
-Talked about buying a 135 operator to supply pilots -think Caravan/cargo type outfit.
-Operations have improved significantly in DFW, company is investing for the long haul by building a new MX hanger. All questions about future growth the answer was Dallas.
-Again teased that they are working on a possible flow through agreement.

Possible flow through with who? UAL isn't interested and AAG has a bunch of wholly owned airlines with flows!

I think that was more of him throwing random ideas out there, for possible solutions of a FO shortage. Pay increase isn't an option at all for him.

So there's enough cash/credit to acquire real estate (new hangars), a 135 operation, more planes, and outpace growth of any other airline, and he tells the public/media we are turning a healthy profit, but there isn't a penny more to pay pilots. Still no.
Oh and the only flow we can ever dream of is from his 135 pipeline to Mesa. I don't think UAL will ever give a flow, and it certainly won't be to us. I could see XJT as a way more likely candidate, but even that is not going to happen IMO. And AA will likely only ever flow WOs, and those are gambles at best.
His words, teasers, and promises are worth what we paid for them.

I got the impression that he doesn't want to raise our pay so he can use the low pilot cost as a negotiation tactic for contracts. Also, who the heck was that FA that called in and wanted instructions on how to find things on the company site?!?! Home girl has been sucking on the emergency O2 way too long

Someone asked Robert Isom about a flow from Mesa (and XJT, and Republic) to American on one of the recently recorded town hall meetings. He said that if anyone wants to flow to American they need to join one of the wholly owned carriers. He also implied that if any of the other carriers could not fulfill the terms of their contracts there would be repercussions.
